A few kind words
We engaged the services of Marion Kiely of Upstream for training in the specialised area of Behavioural Based Safety (BBS), and were delighted with the service we received. Marion tailor-made a half day training package based on our requirements and presented to a cross-section of senior management, administration staff & frontline employees. The training we received far exceeded our expectations.
After presenting on the broad spectrum of BBS programs out there, Marion went on to present some teachings of Prof Sidney Dekker, Dr John Green and Prof Dave Snowden, covering areas of Safety Differently and Cynefin Framework. Relevant case studies were presented, dialogue was encouraged, and the feedback from all in attendance was that it was by far one of the best training days we ever attended. Being in the industry for over 30 years, it was without doubt, the most engaging and professional safety training I have ever received. I would highly recommend Marion of Upstream to any business out there looking to bring their safety to the next level
I’ve been very lucky to get to work with Marion in recent years both as part of coaching groups I have facilitated that she has joined and also in charity events and fundraisers that we have undertook.
In the many different environments where we have worked together she brought both a brilliant attitude and hugely valuable skill set’s that inspired and engaged everyone involved. Her own story background and development shows someone who is truly committed to living a meaningful and full life dedicated to growth and contribution.
With some of the charity events my business ran in recent years Marion was one of the first people I called upon for support due to her kind, honest and humble nature. Amongst these events was a fundraiser for youth group Foroige in which we raised a substantial amount for their Big Brother Big Sister project.
Marion is truly passionate about her chosen field of health and safety and in my time knowing her I have seen her study and practice mindfulness and personal development work to further all areas of her life. I’m proud to know Marion and consider her a great friend.
I just wanted to say thank you for the wonderful and most enlightening lecture I’ve ever sat through. I always knew that Health and Safety was an interest for me and hopefully a career, but your lecture has focused my mind on to where I would like to specialise and excel!
I truly never gave Stress and psychosocial hazards the respect that they deserve.
Ahane N.S choose Marion Kiely of Upstream to undertake our school risk assessment. She has shown herself to be both professional and prompt in her delivery of this service. She carried out a detailed inspection of our school environment, and was very generous with her time, spending the entire school day with us.
The Safety Statement issued to us is of a high standard and took a comprehensive view of our teaching and working environment. I would highly recommend her service to other schools.
